Blog #8, Fall 2025
Started a new job this week! Life has been so crazy and busy recently! Luckily had Tuesday off so after class I spent the rest of the day trimming and slipping all of my pieces for the market. I ended up doing a couple more images on the amphora and then left everything out that night partly covered to dry slowly. Wednesday I was off again because of my schedule change so we knocked out some much needed errands and then went to the studio and mia helped me load the bailey as well as get some pieces submitted for the juried show. I had work before class on Thursday and then headed to the studio for class. Brian helped me write a schedule for the bisque that would help fit my schedule best. It took an embarrassing amount of time to figure one out that would work. Luckily Hailey is the goat and was able to come in at the end of the firing on Friday to shut the kiln down for me. Friday was the grand opening of the restaurant im working at so that was a blur of a day. And after work Sunday went out to the studio to unload and glaze all of the work for the soda.
