Blog #3, Fall 2025

Hello! I currently only have one day off of work and this week I needed time for myself and to get some chores done around the house. I spent a lovely early fall day with Mia just being outside and enjoying each other's company. Tuesday I finally got around to making some work I’ve been thinking about. The first thing I started was my take on an ancient crockpot of sorts. I got the base done for the most part that day along with trimming those bigger serving bowls I threw. Wednesday I had work so didn’t make it in until Thursday’s class. We had a work period and I spent the first half mixing slips and some small clay bodies I wanted to test. I got the handles on the crockpot piece and mapped out where the cutouts were going to be. I didn’t have work after class so I started on a new form. I managed to get rather far on both projects which I am pleased with and excited to see where they go next week.
